Sony’s long-awaited PS4 ‘Remote Play’ feature will eventually be available on iPhones and iPads. If you have a fast internet connection, iPhone or iPad, you have the pleasure of playing your games wherever you want.
The ‘Remote Play‘ feature was dedicated to Sony’s own devices for almost four years. So if you didn’t have a Xperia smartphone or PlayStation Vita, you were deprived of playing games wherever you wanted. With Remote Play, which is now available for Sony’s Playstation 4, you can play games from your smartphone or computer remotely, even if you don’t have a console. Of course, for a seamless gaming experience, a powerful internet connection is needed. It was finally expected that Sony, the Remote Play feature for iPhone and iPad models, was available.
iOS Operating System ‘Remote Play’
Using the ‘Remote Play‘ service is incredibly simple. After you open the Sony PS4 app, you need to download the Remote Play app on your iPhone or iPad. To connect devices, you need to log in to the application with your PlayStation Network account. If the application does not do its job properly, there is also a manual installation option. After the devices are familiar with each other, only you can enjoy your game. You can also join PSN parties and chat with your friends. But since the operating system is iOS, of course there are some restrictions.
We think that the best way to play and enjoy a PS4 game properly is using a game controller. Unfortunately the iOS operating system is not compatible with DualShock 4 game controllers. Therefore, you must either use a MFi controller or use the virtual controls on the screen. At the same time, it is not possible to use the ‘Remote Play‘ service over the cellular network at least for now, so you need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network. If both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can get better efficiency from the application. You also need to be in one of the iOS 12.1 or newer updates.
