A Hot Delıcıous Gluhweın From Germany


It is also very popular with the taste of this drink, which is made in Germany and Austria. You will love the different flavors used in this hot drink as well as tasting different tastes. Hot wine is known as glühwein or mulled wine and is consumed a lot in winter especially in Christmas markets. I like the taste very much, although it is alcoholic, it does not like wine because of its content, it is like sherbet; but alcohol and hot people can suddenly hit. Here is the Glühwein recipe for you


  • 750 ml red wine
  • 180 ml water
  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 big orange
  • 1 tangerine
  • Several slices of lemon
  • 10 cloves
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder and nutmeg nut optional

Preparation of Glühwein

For Glühwein, Boil water, sugar and cinnamon stick in a saucepan until the sugar melts. Throw lemon slices into the boiling water. Squeeze the orange and tangerine and pour in the pot. Put 10 cloves in the orange peel, so that you can walk around in the water. Add the orange peels and the optional powdered cinnamon and nutmeg walnut to the water. Boil for about 30 minutes until the flow of water as well as the consistency of syrup. Then add 750 ml of wine. Close the bottom of the pan to boil the wine after pouring. Hot; but it will not boil. Serve hot.


  • Moderate quality of red wine should be preferred for Glühwein
  • The pot you will use must have a small but deep Teflon pot and the mixture should be heated in the smallest fire of the smallest hearth.
  • Never reach the boiling temperature. Otherwise, your wine may give a bitter taste as if it were cut off and its alcohol can fly.
